Matching Trades
For an exchange to match trades automatically by computer, it is necessary
a) that all exchange members have a trading terminal linked to the exchange computer;
b) that all clearing members have a trading terminal linked to the exchange computer.
The orders and quotes have to be entered into the computer so that they can be matched. This must be done quickly and by qualified personnel.
