Short Stock Position
Short Stock Position: Stock Sold at 100
A short spot position implies:
a) Unlimited loss potential from increasing prices.
b) Limited loss potential from increasing prices.
If you know you will have to make a payment in dollars in two months, you are short dollars. At some time during this period you know you will have to cover your short position.
